DriverName provides a discussion forum for independent rideshare drivers and pages where eligible drivers can present their services and receive reservation requests.

Current and future fees

DriverName is currently free to use. We do intend to operate it as a business in the future. The driver forum will remain free, although we reserve the right to limit who may read or post in the forum. Eventully we expect to charge drivers a reasonable recurring fee for business listings which include a reservation request form. We will notify affected drivers at least 30 days before a fee takes effect and provide the price and payment terms. A free listing will not automatically become a paid listing—a driver must agree to the charge and provide a payment method before we bill them.

Driver listings and reservations

Drivers are responsible for meeting the legal requirements that apply to the trips they offer and for keeping their listing information accurate. Submitting a reservation request does not confirm a trip. The driver and passenger must arrange and confirm the trip directly between themselves.
